Thin, loosely woven cotton from Imabari, Japan’s towel-making town. It soaks up more than a towel twice its size and dries fast enough to go back in the bag still warm from the sun. Over a shoulder at the hot springs, rolled into the Day Ride, hung by the sink. It takes up almost no room and gets softer every wash.
