Antique Brick Mold

Found in Alsace.

A wooden brick mold from a flea market in eastern France, with metal at the corners and a raw, dry finish worn smooth by use. It no longer makes bricks. On a dresser it holds keys, a watch and a book of matches. On a shelf it’s simply good to look at.
