KIZARA · Wood Sheet Memo Pad, Small

Paper, shaved from a tree.

Each page of a Kizara pad is shaved, one sheet at a time, from a single block of Japanese red pine. The wood comes from thinning, the trees forests take out so the rest can grow, so nothing is cut down for it. The grain runs through every sheet, and no two pages are alike.

Forty pages, small enough for a shirt pocket or the Day Ride. Write a mile marker, a motel room number, or a note to leave on the counter. The pages stay flat in dry desert air. Keep it out of a steamy bathroom.
